do not run the actuator test on the Airbag of the Touareg! The control unit releases the accident signal to the rest of the system and the entire power supply of the vehicle is shut-down!

if this does not happen, do the following:

Delete error memory in all systems, particularly, immobiliser XX

Press the yellow reset button under the driver’s Seat. This button should be accessible after lifting the carpet in the space under the driver’s Seat; it requires skill, but no tools.
